Hi there, I’m Nikki!

A Kansas City native currently based in Lawrence, KS.

If I had to choose a favorite genre of design, it would more than likely be publication design. I love to take stories and enhance them visually for the reader — whether it is through iconography, typography, or photography. Most would see a huge blob of text as a daunting task, but I enjoy shaping it into something worthwhile. However, I am happy to create any type of design as long as I can experiment with color, white space, and hand-drawn type — all while jamming out to some good tunes!

When I’m not designing, you can probably find me walking Astrid (my cat) on a leash, binge-watching TV shows, at a concert, using my passport, playing trivia, baking, learning how to sew retro dresses, antiquing, or spending time with friends and family (preferably over food).
