The Missouri S&T Magazine is a tri-annual publication that is produced by the Marketing and Communications staff. This was my first chance to design the feature section. In this issue, we highlighted the work and research that is being done on campus with glass. The color palette was inspired by visiting the Hot Glass Shop and seeing the vibrant orange from the furnace and the blue flames of a propane torch. The geometric design on each page is a nod to the shapes of broken glass. There were not many visuals that we were able to photograph because of the scale. In order to compensate, we chose stock photos to help our readers visualize the projects being done with glass and added a photo essay of the Hot Glass Shop.
